Rev. Corey Sharpe

The Reverend Corey S. Sharpe graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. He earned his Masters degree in religious education at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Divinity from Evangelical School of Theology. He came to us, effective July 1, 2004, from Christ United Methodist Church of Ballenger Creek in Frederick, Maryland, where he served as Youth Minister.

Corey's wife, Julie, earned her BA in French at University of Tennessee, and her MA in TESOL (teaching English as a second language) at Azuza Pacific University. She taught for five years in China; and at present she teaches ESL at Montgomery College.

Julie and Corey were married on August 2, 2003. Their shared hobbies/activities include gardening, contra dancing, and hiking. They have two children, Jacob & Abigail, and live in our parsonage on Smoketree Lane.
