Deryl Davis, Director of Congregational Care

Deryl Davis has worked in the church and in related organizations for much of his career. Previous positions include service as Minister of Education at Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. and as Manager of The Sunday Forum and Director of Public Programs at Washington National Cathedral. He is a producer with Journey Films on a series of new documentary films on religion for public television (Backs Against the Wall: The Howard Thurman Story, Revolution of the Heart: The Dorothy Day Story and the forthcoming Spiritual Audacity: The Abraham Joshua Heschel Story). Deryl holds a PhD in Theology, Literature & the Arts from the University of Glasgow and teaches courses at the intersection of theology, literature, drama, and film at Wesley Theological Seminary.
