A Valentine’s Day surprise, wth a theological twist! Sometimes, you only get one chance to follow your dreams. So when a broken-hearted street musician clicks with a beautiful and feisty keyboardist in Dublin, Ireland, the unlikely couple decides they have nothing - and everything - to lose. Over the course of one electric week, the duo writes, performs and records an incredible cycle of songs every bit as spontaneous and soulful as their improbable romance. Come see the movie that won an Academy Award (2008, “Falling Slowly” - Best Song) and launched a Tony-winning musical, too! After-screening discussion to be led by Scott Roby. Movie is rated R (for language) and is 86 minutes long. Peter Travers of Rolling Stone proclaimed: “A gift of a movie that is absolutely worth seeing more than once!” And Michael Phillips of The Chicago Tribune says, “Once may well be the best music film of our generation.”
