Faith Preschool provides the opportunity for a child to develop as an individual and as a member of a group in a Christian environment. Two of the primary aims of the program are to build self-esteem and to create a nurturing atmosphere where children can learn to socialize with their peers and grow at their own pace emotionally and physically.
Each child should enjoy school and develop a love for learning, develop a sense of security and self-confidence, learn to share and feel comfortable with other children, and experience stimulation of intellectual ability through exploration and discovery.
Established in 1966 as a part of the Christian Education program at Faith United Methodist Church, the school is state-licensed, non-denominational, and non-profit. Faith United Methodist Preschool operates as tangible evidence of the church's concern for young children and their families.
