Annual Red Cross Blood Drive

Save the date!  Faith UMC will be holding our annual Red Cross blood drive with St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.  Stay tuned for an opportunity to sign up for a time slot.

Seventeenth Annual Mission Auction & Dinner

March 19th, Dinner at 6pm, Auction at 7pm

Looking for a lively night out that also raises money for our mission outreach programs?  Then join us on Friday, March 19th, for an evening of fun and fellowship at the Seventeenth Annual Mission Auction & Dinner.  Dinner will begin at 6pm in Fellowship Hall, followed by the auction at 7pm.

 

Tickets ($7 single/$20 family) will be sold during the Sunday fellowship between services and at the door the night of the auction.

 

Last year the congregation's thoughtful donations and generosity raised over $15,000 to support Faith UMC's mission outreach programs.  100% of the proceeds from this year's auction will go to the UMCOR Haiti Emergency Relief Fund, the Montgomery County Manna Food Center, and the Rockville Community Based Shelter.

 

Please join us this year for what is always an entertaining and fun-filled evening for worthy causes.

Easter Breakfast

April 3rd, 9:00-10:30am

Join us for a morning of fun and fellowship.  We will dye eggs (bring a dozen hard-boiled eggs), hunt for eggs (bring a basket), eat breakfast, meet Nutty the Squirrel, and more!  Bring your friends, neighbors, and grandparents!  No reservations required.

Family Camping Trip, May 1st-2nd

On May 1-2, we will join together for some outdoor fun and fellowship at Little Bennett Campground in Clarksburg.  We have 10 campsites reserved (each can accommodate two tents) for the evening of Saturday, May 1, and hope you and your family can join for a hike, s’mores around the campfire, and a service on Sunday morning.  This is a perfect trip for a family new to the camping experience:  Little Bennett is just 25 minutes north of Rockville, and there are hot showers!  Dinner is potluck (come just for the dinner if you prefer) and we can help supply camping gear.  The cost is $21 per campsite, or less if we have more than 10 families sign up.  Please let Tim Evans or Sara Romeyn (301-309-0854, advisors@starpower.net) know if you are interested and feel free to invite other families to join us!
