Stewardship Sunday

Worship at 8:45m and 10:00am

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. –Psalm 46:1-3

As is our tradition at Faith, we will have a celebratory worship service where all are invited to place their commitment cards for 2018 (estimate of giving) in a basket before the altar to be blessed. Then we will move downstairs to the Fellowship Hall for a festive potluck meal afterwards.

Rev. Dr. Woodrow will be preaching at both services, “The Gift of Giving”

Scriptures: Psalm 46; 2 Corinthians 8:1-12

Pray for our world (from the Ecumenical Prayer Cycle ): Aotearoa/New Zealand, Australia
