Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost

Worship at 8:45am and 10:00am

“You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.” –John 6:67-69

Rev. Wayne Chung will be preaching at both services, “To Whom Shall We Go?”

Jews grumble and argue. Now Jesus’ own disciples grumble – “This is difficult. Who can accept it?” Jesus sounds sad when He says to the Twelve – “Do you also want to go?” God offers life, but people have a choice. Who said discipleship is easy?

Scriptures: John 6:56-71

Pray for our world (from the Ecumenical Prayer Cycle ): Cape Verde, The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal
