Youth & Family
Faith UMC and North Bethesda UMC share a youth ministry, that builds relationships among youth in the community, leads weekly opportunities for formation, fellowship and service, and helps to build a wider ecumenical collaboration serving youth across congregations.

The shared youth ministry exists to foster a space for young people (middle and high school-age) to experience a welcoming, supportive Christian community that affirms their full identities (including their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socio-economic background), that enables them to develop deep and meaningful relationships with their peers, and that encourages the development of a progressive Christian spirituality in an intergenerational community. It is a collaborative effort and provides meaningful opportunities for youth to lead and shape the program.

We are committed to reaching out to our young people, from 6th - 12th grade, If you are interested in participating in a Youth Ministry meeting or event, please contact Suzanne Smedberg, Coordinator.
